Install macOS Catalina on VMware on Windows PC
Hey what's going on guys now we will walk you through how to install makers
Catalina on VMware on Windows PC for the interest of full disclosure this video
is for educational purposes only, so let's get started, starting off we are
going to need a couple of things, the first thing we are going to need is very
obviously, which essentially allows you to turn any operating system using a virtual machine, that's available in two types, the VMware Workstation pro and
VMware Workstation Player, now if you are planning to use VMware Workstation
Pro for more than 30 days on your Windows PC you will do
require a license key, but if you'd rather not spend
some marks, you can always use the vendor workstation Player entirely free for personal, use the next thing we're gonna need is a copy of Micah's Catalina
virtual machine image file and last, but not least is a Locker, which is for
patching VMware for extracting these files we are going to need bin zip or

And when you have downloaded extract them in a folder
in case, let's get started to pull up the very wet set up real quick and go
ahead install it as you do any the Installer proceed with the installation by
continuing a few simple results and you're good to go once this turn do not
open the VMware stepped, closet if it's open so now go to unlocker and from the
bottom right, click on Vinnie install and select run as administrator when it's
finished fired up, VMware and click on create a new virtual machine on the
installation wizard led , the setting by default and click Next Next select, I
will install the operating system later and click Next on this window select
Apple makes for the operating system , and select endpoint for him from the drop-down menu for the origin, then hit next now namely virtual machine in this the case I would name it Catalina and choose where to store the virtual machine on
your computer.
, then hit next for the hard disk it really doesn't

done, you should see the finish line go ahead and finish that up to proceed to
the next step and that is configuring the virtual machine , now open up the
virtual machine settings that will take you to the memory tab for memory consider
going with the rule of thumb that's handing over half of your system's memory,
and then head over to the next step which is processor increase the number of
processors to make sure , you are complying with the previous rule going to the
next step will take you to the hard disk , click remove and then click on add
that everything stays the same just click Next to go ahead and click Next once, you
do that select use an existing virtual disk and press next now click Next to
the existing foil, where it says browse go ahead and choose the macroscale in a
virtual machine file and open, when you are asked for converting this format
click keep existing format once you have it, set go all the way to the options
tab there and without changing the tab select Microsoft Windows for the operating system and Windows 64-bit for the version and click the OK close the
VMware completely and go through the virtual machine files,
open up the Mac
OS Katalina vmx file is not bad if the Northport isn't listed here, click
choose another app and select notepad from there when the file opened in North
pet go all the way down by scrolling, then type in or copy and paste the one line
command there and when you're done close it then
Click Save now, all we need to do is fire up the firmware and store the mac OS
Catalina virtual machine, this is going to take some time so if all goes well
this sweet apple logo will come up and load itself if this doesn't happen for
you and pops up EFI or something else instead, and you will need to make sure,
you have selected the correct operating system for the virtual machine, when
the installation finished after you restore it shut down the machine with the
down arrow key and then hit enter, now change the operating system of the VM
back to normal to do that however to the virtual machine settings, then from
the options step change the operating system back to apple make aways once, you
save the settings get back to the game by switching makers Catalina on , when
the make is up again set up my coils like normal by continuing and accepting a
few things and you order,
the makers Catalina has now
successfully installed and everything should work perfectly fine now if your the screen looks really mess with a pretty small resolution installing VMware tools,
will fix it all now without turning off the makers Catalina go up to the top menu, and click VM then select install VMware tool when the window pops up
often install vim we're told and this is where you're prompted for installing it
typically by continuing some resorts, and let it do its thing when the
installation is over click open.
